Mémoires of an Eternal Student

Here with Dr. Kwon in London, England.
I am writing to you after the first day of Dr. Han Kwon’s Thread Lift course in London, England and I just couldn’t wait to tell you all about it.
I woke up at 4:00 am and added to the expected jetlag, the room’s heater was making a terrible noise, between the excitement and the disturbance, I wasn’t able to sleep any longer.
At around 7:00 am, I got ready to walk and follow the map’s instruction to arrive at the course’s venue. I was the first one there. Later, a Philipino doctor that lived in Germany arrived and we got acquainted, after that, a few English doctors arrived as well, following the Saudi Arabian and Indian doctors sat down with us. The headcount was 10 in total, I looked around and realized that I was the only Latinamerican doctor taking the course.
Dr. Kwon made his entrance and greeted us all, although I had seen him before in other courses and have known about the technique very closely, he has gone above and beyond, this experience has really exciting, making the price of the course, the trip and my exhaustion all worth it.
The first day has concluded, and I am excited and happy, because tomorrow we will practice the techniques we learned, ourselves, and as I unwind, I realize that I can be happy with the little things in life.
I am happy when I learn something, when I feel capable of doing something with my hands, with this irresistible feeling of always looking for the best mentor.
Dr. Kwon is a man of process, of learned and practiced steps, of mastering the technique; he turns a routine procedure into art; to witness him at work is like looking at a dance, his movements are precise and calculated, every hand gesture has a purpose, and I identified with him. As I say the people who work with me; our job is a choreography, every movement has to be meticulously planned and programmed, it must be enjoyed and, as a result, our technique and craft become an art.
However, no matter how much we have learned in the past, we must be humble and realize that there is always room for improvement, to learn more and more every day, and to look for opportunities to achieve greatness. Learning is an ongoing quest for knowledge and nobody can know everything, and those who believe that they have conquered all there is to know, are the ones that couldn’t be more wrong.
See you very soon!
